Dogs need different diets at different ages. So depending on the age factor, the diet schedule varies actually for the dogs like another species. A dog on a raw diet may ingest only two to four percent in their body weight. Just observe closely the feeding pattern on the dog and the body condition from the animal. Puppies need greater levels of frequent feeding like protein, fat and carbohydrates while Elder dogs need restricted protein as the protein has to be easily digestible and easily assimilated by the body processes.
